Having spent 30+ years as respectively in-house counsel and partner at a major law firm, we decided January 2015 to share also our professional life and start our own boutique law firm. We think that the combination of our experiences will benefit clients in several ways, not least that we understand the need for flexibility and a cost efficient, result oriented approach to problems/situations.

Working with development finance at Swedfund International AB for 30+ years, I have had the privilege of meeting with many industrious and inspiring entrepreneurs and companies “all over the world”, many of them in Africa. A very stimulating and rewarding job if you, like me, like challenges!

My ambition is to add value from my experiences of various business sectors (industries) and investment environments, in addition to being familiar with state owned companies and their compliance requirements (including ESG).

As company secretary I had to keep abreast of the Swedish legal environment for limited liability companies in general and for state owned companies in particular. I have also made an effort to cultivate my EU background (College of Europe and EU Development Finance Institutions, DFI connections) in various respects and I am happy to have a vast network also in this region.

ESG considerations is of vital importance to all businesses and a healthy base for sustainability and “win/win”.

Engaging in start up’s, as we plan to do, is a new business area to me but a challenge I cannot resist!

Almost 32 years with major Swedish law firm Vinge (27 years as partner), increasingly with focus on technology in a broad sense.

Over the years, many types of matters have passed my desk. Outsourcing, procurement (public, IT-systems and large industrial procurement projects), e-commerce and other features of internet (e.g. social media), various types of distribution and other co-operation agreements, and technology aspects of M&A transactions, are but a few examples.

It all started with a long and most rewarding period as student in Sweden, Belgium and the US, resulting in degrees in both law and business administration, as well as a master of European Community law, all of which turned out to be very useful in the business law firm environment.

In addition to traditional advisory work, the plan is to use our new platform to work with start-up companies.

I look forward to continue to assist fascinating persons in interesting industries. Never a dull moment!
